Conservative Local Government Conference

We ran a plenary session debate at this conference, entitled If the Standards Board for England did not exist, would it be necessary to invent it?

Roger Taylor, a Standards Board for England board member, spoke for the Standards Board, with Conservative MP Eric Pickles opposing. Sir Ron Watson, a Conservative Councillor, chaired the debate.
