National Association of Local Councils 'Stepping Stones' regional conferences

The Standards Board are supporting the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) one-day conferences, which aim to share good practice and provide regional networking opportunities for councillors and officers in all tiers of local government. Shirley Flint, the Standards Board's independent Board Member and Anne Rehill, Advice and Guidance Manager, will deliver an informative workshop 'Understanding local assessment and the Code of Conduct' at the Coventry and York conferences.

Shirley Flint will also be speaking at the London conference. The speech is called 'Local standards - making a difference' and will take place at 16.05.

We will be exhibiting at all three conferences where Policy Advisers will be on hand to answer questions and provide advice.
